Promoting Positive Processes After Trauma
What helps us live fully in the present after the devastation of trauma? How can we face our reality after losing a loved one, enduring a natural disaster, or surviving a serious illness? Several “positive processes,” strengths to create growth after trauma, are described in this book. These strengths are hope, positive emotions, resilience, forgiveness, meaning in life, and spirituality/religiosity. These strengths are analyzed and given richness by real-world experiences and insights of a trauma survivor.
